Happy Thursday, June 22, 2023, to all Canon Shooters and Photography enthusiasts.

Once again it is time for this week's Canon Photo Thursday.   I hope you choose to share a few of your photos with us.  It doesn't matter if your camera or photos are new or old, it is all good. Let's inspire each other and possibly inspire future generations.

This is your chance to share your epic, fun, cool, and/or interesting photo with everyone here on PN. Show us your vision, your style, your projects, your travels, adventures, photo missions or just something you shot that captured your fancy. You all know the drill, post one, two, three, or more photos shot from your Canon EOS Camera (SLR or DSLR or Mirrorless. Was your camera made by Canon? If so, post your shots). All are welcome to participate. Late postings are welcome. If you miss Thursday, feel free to add to the thread another day. Looking forward to seeing your shots. Pick up the camera and shoot something. Even if you didn't get out this week, you know you have some blast from the past stashed in your archives. We have a lot of regulars here reading. Jump in and post. Show us your shots.  I know with the season everyone can get very busy. I would like to thank everyone who has been sharing in Canon Photo Thursday. It means a lot, making starting this thread every week worth wild. Thank you for your support.

As always, I truly appreciate the support of our Canon friends and shooters. It's nice not to be left hanging. Thank you, everyone who has been participating.

I took a very early Friday morning drive to San Francisco. Dropping my wife off at the airport, Sparks and I took a drive up the Great Highway to the Cliff House. I had not been there is a few years and thought it would be a fun photo mission.  It was cold and overcast, low 50's along the ocean. People were wearing winter coats. A good 10 degree cooler than Monterey. I did at least have on a long sleeve shirt. Here are a couple shots around the Cliff House. The third shot is a beautifully restored Ford Bronco with surf boards ready to head to the beach. Hope you enjoy the shots.

I can hear Jan and Dean singing in the background Mark! Or was that the Beach Boys? Nice Bronco and other photos.

Walking around with the SL1 with 40mm 2.8. My local seascape (okay, only Lake Michigan), a nonagenarian (had to look that word up) who lives in my building, some construction/repairs happening.

Heading to Surf City. This restored Bronco belonged to Terry my camping neighbor who brought it down on a trailer behind his RV for the Monterey Car Show. He said he spent several years restoring it is including re-chroming the chrome. The inside looks just as nice and I will share a shot of that next week. I know it is not the same car, but it really reminded me of driving my pop's 1964 International Scout back in the 1970's. Sadly I missed the car show, I was to tired from not being able to sleep Thursday night until about 2:30am and then getting up at 4am to have my wife into TSA by 7am in SFO. The entire weekend was a wash with the sleep schedule messed up. lol. I enjoy your shots of Michigan. Did you ever get that 14mm.

No I have not gotten that lens yet. It's still on the list. I wanted your feedback first since I knew you used it.

That giraffe is great.

Thank you!
Have to give credit to my wife for “directing” me while I was photographing the giraffes and then choosing and again directing me during the cropping of that shot.
