chrismitchell
I know that I can recharge my z5 with a power bank. The question is can I take long exposure photos while the power bank is powering the camera. Astrophotography. I will be hiking in some isolated areas this summer. I want to take hours of photos, star trails. Olympic national park, Yellowstone national park. Other public lands. I will be riding a Mt bike through some isolated areas. I have a small solar panel. I noticed that my two power banks are slow to charge. Is it worth more money money to buy the Anker power core+ that Nikon recommends, compared to the two $20 power banks I have now? The question is this. How does a hiker in isolated areas keep his camera powered through the night, when a wall outlet might be a week away? No guesses please. If you want to combine right hours of star photos into one photo, will a power bank change your z5 during shooting?
