nvum99
I recently picked up a very good condition SRT 303 (European-badge SRT 102) that has something funky going on with the meter. It gives the correct reading when turned on, BC works fine, but it won't turn off, even with the on/off/bc switch-containing base plate removed. I've worked on a decent amount of cameras before and the SRT circuit is very simple, so I'm not sure what I'm missing and any help would be appreciated. kmac
Sometimes a drop or two of lighter fluid or contact cleaner on the switch and related electrical components will fix such problems.
John Seaman
It looks as if the three contacts on the body are positioned OK and not touching anything they shouldn't. And the meter still won't turn off with the base removed?. Perhaps there's an accidental short between two wires somewhere.
