jose f. Posted March 4, 2003 Share Posted March 4, 2003 I had a successful job done here in Portland OR by a tech familiar with Leicas and higher-end electronic Minoltas. Found him by asking around at independent repair shops with authorized repair contracts. Had light seals replaced at the same time and spent less than $150 two or three years ago. joel_matherson Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 Not being in the USA I cant recomend a local agent for service but 2 things to remember to have looked at are 1/ as Josef rightly did, check and/or replace the light seals 2/ Have the contacts under the shutter dial cleaned. This will cure the 2 major faults one sees with the CLE. Doing this shouldnt require a specialized CLE service agent as its basic camera stuff.
