rick_drawbridge
bruce_z. Ii2 said "How do you like Delta 400 versus HP5+, in terms of tonality? " Very little to pick and choose between the two so far as tonality goes, in my experience. The HP5+ with it's traditional grain structure does seem to give an impression of greater contrast and acutance, while the Delta 400 has a smoother look to the transitions. mjferron
31st I just received my 100' roll of Kentmere Pan 400 so I loaded 12 exposures into the Nikkormat Ftn. Lens was a Nikkor 50mm ai F2 and the film was developed in HC110 Dil. H. For some reason YT reviewers often refer to Pan 400 as a beginners film. Personally I don't see anything beginner about it. Drys beautifully flat too!
Ricochetrider
1st February 2023. Today, this photo, among others, is going on exhibit at one of my workplaces. This group of B&W "moto" shots will be "on tour" all year long, showing in varying corporate environs! bruce_z._li2
@Ricochetriderthat is a beautiful shot of a beautiful engine! The composition, the helmet, and the people blurred at the back with an ocean view, all enhanced the main subject. The 250mm Sonnar was legendary for NASA missions, and today they are the most affordable lenses for Hasselblad V. I'm tempted...
Ricochetrider
Thanks Bruce! I love the 250 Sonnar, and have shot mine quite a lot. I often do “long distance close ups” with it and just love them.
