ed_farmer
Found this little guy on the roof of the car after pulling into a Sonic to eat. Grabbed a camera out of the bag, used the 50f1.4 that was already mounted, snapped this shot and he left before I could get another . . .
JDMvW
Is a critique you want? Well, it's a cute little mantis.🙂 I prefer a crop, but the abstract blur on the left ain't bad

MrAndMrsIzzy
Agree with JD's crop, but either way. This is what I call a great accident and a really good grabshot.....Izzy Izzy From Brooklyn
John Seaman
I love the blurry shapes. This would make a great poster for a 1950's SF/Horror movie.

mikemorrellNL
I agree that some PP would improve the photo. Taking @JDMvW's crop (just) as a starting point, my suggestion is to to replace the large 'white spots'. Either by cropping - as JDMV suggests - or by other PP techniques (cloning/stamping, replacement) Full screen, the photo has quite a bit of 'noise' and the eyes of the Mantis aren't quite as sharp as they might be. So again, some noise reduction and sharpening in PP would IMHO improve the photo. Having said all this, I really like the photo! Great capture!
