chuck909
I just received a very clean XE-7 via the Bay. Light meter and shutter work spot on. The problem is that the take-up and the sprocket drive do not move when the advance lever is moved and the shutter cocked. The camera acts as if it is permanently in multiple exposure mode. Also, the advance lever tends to catch on something. Anyone have any suggestions (other than a return)? Also, the frame counter does not advance Edited December 1, 2022 by chuck909 Added info
John Seaman
Could the rewind button be stuck down? But that wouldn't account for the catching advance.
chuck909
Rewind button not the problem. It's going back.
John Seaman
This sounds ominous. I would definitely return it.
