Film Camera Week for September 23

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with a few images. The first two are more from the roll of Cinestill XX that I processed last week. The rest of the images are older images. I hope to have some more new ones to add to thread over the weekend.

This week I did a bit crazy panorama for the last summer night at Filoli Gardens, California. A 3D printed Kraken 6x17 camera with Schneider Super Angulon 80/9 lens. The film is quite expired Velvia 50, and the sunset did not help with high contrast. I made so many mistakes, like accidental double-exposure, under exposure, forgot to check focus distance, etc etc. The slides were E6 home processed, and so dark I have to use a powerful flash light to cut between frames. Only two frames are salvageable, and here you are.

@bruce_z._li|2 The only Kodak Monitor I've owned was broken beyond repair so I salvaged the Supermatic shutter and anastigmat special lens and installed them on my Senior Six-20. A quick search on the web shows that the shutter linkage was a common problem on the Monitors. In fact, I found a thread here on PN talking about this very issue:

Kodak Monitor 6x9 shutter problem

Good luck!
