Winter

Curious fact: The now traditional Christmas song 'Let it snow!' was in fact written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945. It was written in Hollywood, California during a heat wave as Cahn and Styne imagined cooler conditions. :)

As parts of the US and Europe continue to experience heat waves this summer, a few 'visually cooling' winter photos might be very welcome!

Kokkori bridge is set between two sheer cliffs below the village of Koukouli. This is one of the most picturesque of the Zagorohoria's stone bridges located in Epirus, Greece, at the northwestern part of the country. It was first built in 1750, and has been kept in excellent repair ever since. Took that picture standing on rock at the river's bed, choosing a lower angle for this shot.
