Idea for making film development more efficient

Recommended Posts

And when talking history (which Karim wants to revive): Kodak also had an instant film process, rivaling that of Land, but were not allowed to put it on the market because at the time it was declared to be of military importance and put under embargo. So Kodak had to catch up with Land after WWII, and couldn't.

Land's interest in polarisation was inspired by road safety and car headlights. If they could be polarised one way, the windshield polarised at 90 degrees to that, no more dazzling by uncoming traffic.
