HELP ASAP WITH CANON EOS MIGHT HAVE RETAKEN A ROLL! PLEASE HELP!

Alright, basically, I need to know if a Canon EOS Rebel (it has an SZ under

that and a II on the bottom right hand corner) rewinds the film ALL the way.

Reason being is my sisters prom pictures were on a roll that I might have

already REloaded into the camera and taken more pictures over the top of the

same roll.

So my question is this: DOES the canon Rewind the film "ALL THE WAY"

without leaving a tail end hanging out? My mother is crying that it's all my

fault, etc etc claiming it does NOT rewind it all the way, but I find it hard to

believe that a camera this expensive (relatively) would NOT rewind it all the

way, that'd just be stupid. Plus, she's a nutcase in general, so I'm not really

taking her word for this.

Can someone PLEASE tell me whether their canon rebel rewinds the film ALL

the way??!?!?!?

THANK YOU!

As far as I know Rebels wind all the way. Only the more expensive bodies give you the OPTION of leaving the leader out. I don't think that's on option on any Rebel body.

Remove the roll now (after rewinding it!) and get it processed, "just in case"

It doesn't matter if there's a little piece of tail hanging out. Your photos won't be ruined. The first frame doesn't start from the beginning. Don't worry about it. If it's rewound, then take the film out.

I don't think any Rebel will leave the film leader out. Generally, the film leader option comes on the more expensive cameras.

I wouldn't worry, but go get the film process right away just in case. Where is the 'other' roll of film which could also have the pictures? Get that developed too, of course!

I have the Rebel G and I want to say that on an occasion or two the leader was left out. Now, as mentioned by everyone else that will not ruin the pictures but if you loaded the same roll twice, you'll have a very interesting effect. Only way to know is bring them to be developed. <br> My last week of college, i shot 4 rolls of film with 3 rolls and had no idea until i got the pictures back. I was using a Richoh P & S, at the time I cried, now many moons later, the drunken effect matches the mood of that week perfectly that I think it was for the best, it all jumbled together in my head :)
