Mamiya 7ii film advance lever/winder stuck.

I just took my Mamiya 7ii out of the closet, loaded it with film, pressed the shutter for the first frame and the film advance lever/winder gets stuck there. I think the issue is probably the contacts not telling the camera that it has fired but not sure.

Any suggestions? I was going to take pix of my family and I'm stuck (literally and pun intended).

Before anyone asks, I did clean the contacts and tried another lens as well. I also removed the film and reloaded it. Total pain!!!

Thanks,

Olivier

Las update before I send it out for repair:

1. The camera and lenses dry fire perfectly when opening the back and doing so at all speeds including bulb/B.

2. I can see the film spool turning perfectly when dry firing with the back open.

3. The counter resets properly when opening the back.

4. The light meter works well and I put a fresh battery in the camera.

This is really strange. It would possibly indicate that the film spool is not recognizing that the camera has fired and that the film should be wound to the next frame.
