arthur_mcculloch2
Don, bleached out highlights in the second shot. Love the first. My shots from my monochrom are of two 'star struck' lovers I bumped into on Thursday afternoon at our local park. Our town is beset by bush fires. May be able to post an FP4 shot of the smoke. Crazy. Not a leica, but my hasselblad. The fire smoke clears at the moment. I think other parts of the world (the west coast of America comes to mind) have been visited by fires. It's pretty full on here. arthur_mcculloch2
Canon IVs, Jupiter 8, HP5. Church near me after a disastrous fire. Ive just bought a canon 7 off eprey. Slow speeds dont work. So its getting a service and negotiated a partial refund. How do find the russian lenses? Have you had to reshim them?
Fiddlefye
Ive just bought a canon 7 off eprey. Slow speeds dont work. So its getting a service and negotiated a partial refund. How do find the russian lenses? Have you had to reshim them? The Canon 7 is a really lovely camera. Even if it had been working properly when you got it a full service should be performed. They're so much nicer when they're freshly lubed and set up! Such a high-quality camera deserves the best treatment it can be given IMHO. The Jupiter 12 needed a reshim as it was clear that someone had taken it apart and reassembled very wrong. The 8 is very nice. I just finished a roll in the IVs so the next will go in my Canon 7. The Jupiter 12 needs an auxiliary finder with the IVs so I didn't use it, but it will do a fair amount of the work with the 7. I'll also use the 50 f1.8 Serenar and 90 f4 Elmar with it. royall_berndt
I know that's just a simulation up there, but I never cared for Panatomuic X. Too contrasty, and midtones fell into black all the time
christopher_a._junker1
Royall has a point. Can we have a series comparing Pan-X to Tri-X simulations of the same image?
