This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! Looks like I haven't quite got the nocturnal mushroom thing out of my system yet, this Nikon Wednesday. It's been dry dry dry, and then one day after a decent little rain - poof! This guy popped up in a matter of hours. Fascinating things, shrooms. Quick and dirty shot with a Z6 and 24-70/4. What's everyone else been shooting? Share! 4

Matthew Currie Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 This old house got some paint, and when the sun comes out all the insects flock to its bright warm walls.
Matthew Currie Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 In a warm autumn the leaves do some interesting things.
Matthew Currie Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Got an old Pentacon free the other day, with a Tessar lens on it. I jammed a T adapter on it, and tried it as a macro. It works pretty well. I kind of like the effect. (Previous two - wasp with D7100 and my nice new 70-300 AFP FX lens, leaf fringes with D7100 and 16-80 DX, this one with D7100 and 50/2.8 thread mount Tessar) It looks as if the flower season is about over, though. 1

wade_roth Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I haven't posted in a while. I've been enjoying lurking though. No mushrooms, but we've had little wild strawberries popping up in our lawn this year. Nikon D4, 105 mm f/2.8 @ f/16, 13s, ISO100. 3
