graflite Posted February 28, 2003 Share Posted February 28, 2003 Hi, the diameter of the OUTSIDE of the lens bezel is 38mm. The actual inside threads would be a little less, although i am not certain of the exact measure. If the question is asked for purposes of fitting filters, what i did was contact MidWest Photo Exchange (www.mpex.com) and get a 38mm Series VI slip-on filter holder & retaining ring. I found this to be less difficult & frustrating than trying to get hard-to-find filters that actually screw into the threads themselves. Better still, sometimes you can find Series VI slip-on filter holders with lens shades instead of, or sometimes in addition to, the filter retaining rings. I hope this helps.
