daniel_andrews
I recently purchased a Calumet C2 film back that I plan to use with my pinhole camera. The problem is I dont know how to load the film and cant seem to locate the directions or a guide anywhere on the Internet. Can anyone walk me through the process? robert_a._zeichner1
I had one of these awhile back and as I recall, you open the back, lift the hinged roll holder up, load the film on the bottom roller and draw it across the aperture. You then thread it around the roller on the opposite side, back toward the full roll, swing down the take up roll holder, and attach to the take up spool. Then advance the film so the arrow or index mark on the film shows through a hole on the pressure plate. Close, set counter to "s" for start and start winding until the first exposure is in place. That may not be a perfect explanation, but I think if you now look at it carefully, it will make enough sense to get the job done. Hope that helps. j._salty
Calumet sells the instructions on their website, but they also provide a free .PDF instruction on how to load http://www.calumetphoto.com/calumet/content/instructions/ins_c2n.pdf

steve_levine
I have a paper copy of this.I can probably scan & send it if you get stuck. There are few quirks to the load, especially with 120 vs 220 films.

david_karp
I just checked the Calumet site and the link to the pdf file is up and working. Probably one of the others contacted Calumet and notified them. Just FYI.
sjmurray
I just got a C2 also. I tried the above link and it didn't work. Then I went into Calumet's website, did a search on "c2 instructions" and got to a page selling the instructions. It had a link to the PDF file, which worked and I printed it out.
