jae_myung_shim
Currently bought a used Contax RTS III and I wonder if this is normal: there is this secondary reflection on the bottom of the viewfinder. It doesn't affect shooting but very annoying and I haven't encountered such a problem with other SLR cameras.

If you still shoot film and still have the lens(es), it's not late I guess;)
gary_brook1
Can I suggest that you check the mirror to see if it has slipped down in the mirror box. I had an RX that did that and the difference was noticeable within the eye finder, as well the slip ruined the film as it had hung down to block the light from the lens. I know this is an old post, but I don’t see any reflection on the bottom of the viewfinder. I did have extra numbers in the displays lit up, but I was able to get it repaired. It only took about a year and my local tech having connections in Japan. Anyway if you are still there I can try to answer questions. Mine is still working normally.
