kl_prager1
Does anyone have any news about the 120CB? There have been numerous threads about this lens, but nothing recently. This lens is apparently being distributed on a very limited basis (at least in the US) and is not listed under the product listing on Hasselblad's web site. Yet, it is being listed as available for sale in B&H's product listing and previous posters claim to verify that this lens does in fact exist, contrary to statements made by some other posters. Does anyone have this lens? If so, what are the specs and how does it compare to the 120CF, of 120CFi? Responses from anyone w/ first hand knowledge will be appreciated. Any comments from the Carl Zeiss and/or Hasselblad rep will be especially welcome!
guido_puttkammer2
Originally the Macro-Planar CB 120mm is a cheaper version of the CFi 120 made for the Chinese market, only. It's mechanical simplified (there's no F-function of the shutter and no EV coupling), but the optics are the same. Hasselblad has sold the overstock of the CB 120 to some dealers in the US.
