Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! You know, sometimes you just have to get some drive-through fast food. That's right, a quarter-pounder with cheese. There, I said it. But if you do it at noon, you're going to sit in that drive-through line for a few minutes. And there's the camera bag next to you, and ... OK, it's the roof of the McDonald's. I think they're going to need to sell a few more burgers and get that fixed. Anybody else shoot while they were waiting for something? Let's see some photos! D810 with 70-200/2.8
Dieter Schaefer
While waiting for the light to cross the street to turn green, I couldn't resist taken a shot of the Mercedes G. Fortuitously, the girl on the bike appeared just at the right time and place. D500 with 16-80/2.8-4 at 48mm, f/8, 1/500s, ISO 100

ShunCheung
We talked by the San Francisco City Hall last week, first at 6:30pm, and the sky wasn't completely dark yet. We went back at 10pm and it looked quite different. Both images Nikon D750 with 24-70mm/f2.8 AF-S VR lens at 35mm and 32mm, respectively.

Andrew Garrard
As near as I could get to the centre of the tower with my 8mm Sigma fish-eye. Some ceilings and an annoyingly-in-the-way altar.
Andrew Garrard
I'm not sure how much these count... I was in Ely for a tiddlywinks tournament (at which I took more samey photos - I need to work on that, and having the D850's silent shutter mode might help when I get there...) and I spent a while waiting between rounds, then got told the food wait at the pub was an hour, so I took the time taking advantage of the light on the cathedral. These are pretty much the shots that everyone takes of Ely Cathedral (and they had the altar in the middle, so I couldn't stand directly under the tower like my last visit), so I'm not asserting high art. But they're from my ongoing goal to do some actual shooting every week this year and see whether I ever become a competent photographer, so this is what you get. :-) First, outside in the sun (and could have been the looming towers of Mordor): D810, 14-24 at 14mm.
Andrew Garrard
And from roughly the same place with the 14-24 again, trying to get a bit more sunlight through the stained glass. Which caused weirdness in the white balance, but never mind...
