Okay :-). Let's start with Arax, dyxum spec and reviews here. Medium format, P6, adapter here. New Schneider-Kreuznach tilt lenses shown at Photokina 2010, yet to be released + EXPENSIVE, here. Another medium format option, Mirex adapter, review & details @ dyxum by Pete Ganzel here. Non tilt, just shift (architecture, interior) try ebay, but very rare in general here.

There is also the lensbaby, and other DIY options, but they are not as precise and/or present other 'effects' or issues.

Sorry Mark, but we're on the same page now. As to date, Sony don't make any lenses like this, although there are some patents lurking on the net suggestiong some are in the works. By "genuine", I mean lenses designed to be tilt'shift, as appose to using a lens with a larger image circle and an adapter. All of the options I list above are pretty solid/reliable/well known though, so I wouldn't feel reluctant about them just because they don't say Sony on them.

A lensbaby is not really a real lens as such, it is more kind of a special effects tool which is quite different to a t/s lens.

Richard has given you some good pointers to sources. Another excellent one is the Hartblei lenses. They make them in a while range of different forms and in a whole pile of different mounts including the Sony alpha mount. They are excellent lenses and surprisingly good value.

You can use them just like a normal lens except for the fact that you have to stop down the aperture manually. If you are going to go down this path, I would recommend forgetting getting a shift lens only and get a tilt/shift lens.

I have a Schneider 2.8/28mm shift lens in Sony mount. Good, but not exactly affordable, though not bad when compared with the price of a A900 body for example. I also have a Hartblei 2.8/80 T/S that is good and was very cheap but it seems they have stopped making it and only offer the quite a lot more expensive super-rotator now. My one is very similar to the old Canon TS in its operation.
