robert_tan1
Hello guys, Q.1.. I have the sony alpha 200k dslr and would like to buy spare batteries. Sterlingtek does not sell the batteries but it does sell the charger. This is strange.I know they sell the canon spare batteries and charger but why have they not done so for the batteries? Q.2..Second question.Since i have my own sony charger, can it be used to charge the spare ones from Sterlingtek if they decide to sell it or b) must i use only the sterlingtek charger to charger sterklingtek batteries? Thank guys and happy weekend ahead!
sl attanapola
I would only buy the original battery unless it is a known fact that the aftermarket one is exactly the same battery(but rebadged). In theory if the aftermarket one has the same specifications as the original battery you should be able to use your existing battery charger - but do not quote me on it! peterblaise
. So long as the batteries work in the camera, they can be charged on either charger - they are essentially interchangeable. A Google search for [sony battery +a200] bring not only sellers, but discussions from users: http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&q=sony+battery+%2BA200&btnG=Search or http://tinyurl.com/58epjg I've read (can't find link) of 1/2 price direct shipment from Taiwan arriving in 3 days and working fine. What are Sony's over the counter prices - $50? =8^o .
