salman_khan5
Hi I love this dyanx 7 and planning to buy Tonika 19~35. http://www.tristatecamera.com/lookat.php?refid=263&sku=TOKAF1935M Please help me to find is this lens is compatible with D function of maxxum and sony alpha. A second choice is Quantaray Tech-10 18-35mm 1: 3:5-4:5AF. The lens is made by sigma. which one i should go for and their compatability with DOF/ADI feature of maxxum7. jos_roost
For both lenses you mention, I'm not sure if they support the D function, but probably not.<br> However, without the D-function you will only miss ADI-flash (but TTL flash will still work) and DOF calculations on the display (but as your Maxxum 7 has a DOF preview button, you can judge the DOF in the viewfinder). Therefore, I wouldn't bother too much about this D-function.<br><br> If you want to be sure of full compatibility, try to find the Konica-Minolta 17-35mm f/2.8-4 (D) AF or the identical Tamron.
