The one with pointy finder looks like a full frame body. Second one I think is

the successor to 7D? Anyone has the specifications to share?

Hi Yi,

 

These were shown at the PMA in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago. They are only models of DSLRs to be released in the next year or two. Sony did not release any details other than one is a advanced amateur model and one a pro model. This has been discussed on this forum in the following thread:

The Japanese web site could be one place to look for specifications or news about the cameras.

 

Unfortunately I do not understand Japanese language. If you Yi understand Japanese, look there and post your findings (if any) here.

Will be going to Japan next month and will certainly visit the Sony gallery in Ginza and ask the girls there for all possible info. Seems that these are real models not just dummies kept under glass (I am talking about the camera bodies not the customer relations officers at the gallery).

From the look of the pictures, one of the cameras is a revamped 7D (rear control dial, vertical grip). The other camera (pro-model?), doesn't appear to have a built in flash. It also seems to have a larger pentaprism. Could it be full frame, or near full frame? Time will tell.
