mike_markowitz
Okay, I'm new to the remote cord world and I bought a used remote on eBay that came with nothing. Dumb question of the year....ready??? How do I hook this thing up to the camera....don't all laugh at once.
weatherman
There has to be a plastic lid (I think on the front bottom). Remove this piece (which you will loose at some stage anyway!!) you'll see the socket, rest is not rocket science as you can imagine..
tara_r2
Next to the AF/M switch is a small plastic cover for the remote control terminal. Just pry it loose with a fingernail, and voila, you're good to go.
bill_thorlin
As Ersagun says there is a very good chance that you will lose the cover. If it helps - I "paint" the cover white so that it at least stands out a bit more - have not lost any since doing this but may just be luck. No-one is laughing but do you have the manual ? yutt_v
On the back of the body of the remote there is a tiny recess which you can plug the remote socket cover. They really try to out-though us dummies. This is why i like them minolta.
