Do not panic, but.... What should we do?

It is not such a worry for my as I only have the Maxxum 5, the

Maxxum 7, the

Minolta kit lens 28-80 3.5-5.6D, the 5600HS accessory flash, and the

Tamnron 75-300mm. Whatever happens, I plan to

continue using my stuff as long as they work.

Some some professional and objective advice/recomendation will come

in handy

though.

Hope Sony will keep, at least, the same quality I experienced in 30 years using Minolta.

My first Minolta camera (SRT 100b of Aug 1976) is still working perfectly. Same happen with my 50mm f/1.4 lens (Jan 1979), my X700 (early 80's) etc. After a XD7 (1979) and a Maxxum 5xi (1992), more recently I bought a Maxxum 7 (2002), a Maxxum 70 (2004) and a Maxxum 5D (last Oct.).

As Mr Mendoza said, I also plan to continue using my stuff as long as they work.

Maybe Sony will launch a DSLR body for my old MD lens. Who knows?
