Maxxum 7 Guide Book??

Anyone know of a "Magic-Lantern-type" guide book for the Maxxum 7?

I'm looking specifically for assistance on all the custom features.

Needless to say the camera's manual provided by Minolta is lacking.

I have one for the 600si and it is very informative, hoping there's

something out there for the M7.

Unfortunately, the only ones I have seen are German language.

 

I suggest that you just ask questions about the custom functions. The people on this list are a good source of knowledge.

Hi Laurence!

I don't know if this is any use to you, but there is a Magic Lantern guide for the 7D. I have just ordered one from Amazon, hopefully as the cameras share many features there will be some usefull info for the 7.

When it arrives i'll let you know.

IMHO, you will be better with asking for help on this (or other KM forums) than reading Magic Lantern for 7D. I own this book and this is the worst book i have chance to read in that genre. The book is lacking any advanced info and some contents is even wrong !!! One may wonder if the author has even worked with the camera more than few minutes.

I really can't recommend it.

Sounds just like mine for the 800si. Coverage poor, errors too frequent, value for money minimal.

 

Ask on here, read the manual carefully and try it out - much the best way. Frankly I do not even know where my copy has gone.

I agree with MLADEN SEVER, I too purchased the book and was very disappointed. Save your money and read the manual
