What's the difference between an FE and a TCC lens?

Hello everybody,
I read in the Munroe lens guide that the FE lenses previously used to be called TCC lenses. Does that mean that they are identical, optically, mechanically etc and were just renamed with the launch of the 20x series cameras?
I am looking for a longer lens for my 203FE and am wondering specifically about the 350/4 Tele-Tessar FE vs the 350/4,0 Tele-Tessar F TCC.
The former is very difficult to find, but the latter does come up occasionally so if it is the same as the FE I might consider it.
Thank you very much in advance

The F series lenses with electrical contact (communication bus) was called F TCC from 91~94 (coinciding with the 205 TCC), and then changed to FE from 1995 onwards (with the introduction of the 203FE, and the 205 FCC a year later). They are otherwise the same lenses.

Lenses labeled TTC are obviously older, which may be the reason they are a little cheaper.

"Manfred, there is a design problem with that camera...every time you drop it that pin breaks"
