charles_parker3
I don't know what I did. My display used to include both the ISO and a histogram. I also had Fn2 set to change my ISO settings so I had complete manual control with minimum menu navigation. This is a new camera for me; I've only taken about 20-30 test shots. I went out yesterday, and both the histogram and the ISO are now missing, and Fn2 doesn't let me change ISO.
Even worse, histogram and ISO no longer appear in the custom menu. I can't seem to get them back, and I don't know what I did to lose them. I really need an answer; the camera is now effectively useless in manual mode:(
Thanx ... charles_parker3
Never mind. I stumbled on the answer. There's a button on the top marked iA which I must have pressed by mistake at some point placing my camera into iA mode (don't know what that is:). Pressed it again, and everything's back to normal!
allan_jamieson2
iA stands for Intelligent Auto, it's on most Panasonic cameras, designed for your average camera user who doesn't want to think too much about anything other than composing their photographs.
