Kickstarter lens may add Pentax mount

<p>I can be proved wrong. Pentaxian may be the generous bunch but I doubt you can get 100 people to sign up to back this product with $400+ pre-order. <p>This is for collectors. There are no lens tests indicating performance. They need a brass camera, probably manual-only operation, to go with it. Photography has come a long way since 1839, but collectors may like the look from that era. We Pentaxians have our "Art" finely-made metal Limited lenses, some available in a finish of brushed satin silver color if one wishes a distinguished bright metal look. Practically, they are far more compact and have some some useful modern features, compared to this collector's model.</p>

<p>Sorry - I misread the requirement -they opened 100 slots for the bronze lens .. then opened some more for the black version. They committed to building if they got 50 orders</p>

<p>48 bronze and 3 black have been pledged at this point, so it looks like a done deal</p>
