bellows pin hole repair

Stephen, if you can see pinholes in the top creases, there are probably pinholes in other places on the bellows. Time for a replacement. Meanwhile, try black gaffer's tape, or black plastic electrician's tape, as a temporary fix. The Toyo bellows is made of a flexible plastic material that resists most types of silicone adhesives from adhering to it.

Bostick and Sullivan sells a bellows repair kit that works great and can tackle this problem very effectively. You can also use a textured rubber coating from Rustoleum (Grip and Guard) that folks use to dip plier grips into to give them a coating. It comes in black and can be found at hardware stores at about $3-$5 a can. This option can work well if you only have pin holes as it is flexible.

There is a product called "liquid electrical tape" available at marine chandleries for sealing electrical connections . Works great for bellows. Its flexible, so stretch the bellows out to the maximum you would use, apply LET in a thin layer (enough to block the light) on the inside, Let it cure overnight, and away you go.
