clark_roberts
Hi all,
I've just received a 80mm C T* lens and I need a hood for it, but going thru ebay
and it's hard to figure out which would fit. I would like a plastic on a hasselblad made
one for sure, any advice would be helpful.

Clark
floyd_waller
For a C lens it should be Bayonet=Bay50. For later models , it should be Bay60. Bay6 for Rollei is a completely different size of attachment.
richard_lane3
Hello Clark. Floyd is correct - you are looking for a Bay50 lens hood. I am assuming here that you are talking about a Hasselblad / Zeiss lens ? For reference, the following page is an excellent place to get information on the Hasselblad / Zeiss lenses ... http://www.hasselbladhistorical.eu/HW/HWLds.aspx The filter size is one of the pieces of information given on each of the data sheets. I have a number of Fotodiox lens hoods (plastic) for my Hasselblad V-series lenses, and could throughly recommend them for their quality and value-for-money. The Amazon link is for the specific lens hood for the 80mm C T* Hasselblad / Zeiss lens ... http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Lens-Shade-Hasselblad-Standard/dp/B003G8CPGA Good luck with the new lens. clark_roberts
Thanks guy's, the lens is going back to KEH tomorrow. I took a few picture's and on a bright
sunny day when taking pictures of objects with white in them, they had a bit of strange glow.
So I took a flashlight and found a finger print smear on one of the rear element's inside and a strange
ring type film or fog, I never saw that before in a lens, so back it goes.
