Classic Manual Camera weekend, Dec. 18

<p>By now it's Friday, December 18th in some parts of the world so let's get our weekend thread going. I really use my Rollei gear (35, 35S, and B35) a lot when I'm traveling. Tri-X and sometimes Plus-X is usually the film of choice. Looking forward to seeing everyone's work this weekend. And don't forget to consider posting that 4th image in the 365 day forum.</p><div></div>

<p>The B35, though it lacks the faster f2.8 lens of the "S" and the slow shutter speeds, its light weight makes it easy to carry when a heavier Rollei or SLR would not be convenient. </p><div></div>

<p>Last one. The selenium meter in the B35 is surprisingly accurate after all these years, but the next shot was a near miss. I did correct a little after scanning.</p><div></div>

<p>Hello everyone. My moped "travelling" here on Oahu is keeping the Agfa Record and Isolette rolling smoothly. Here are two selections, taken about 100 yards apart with each camera, on Kaneohe Bay. <p>Bill: Wish I was in Oahu right now. It's cold! I like the framing on that first shot from the Record.. do you have any problems with that camera?</p>

I think i need to do some more work on the camera and run another roll through to really get the feel for it.</p>

<p>Hello again everyone. Darin, the Record camera was purchased from Jurgen Krackel, otherwise known as Certo6 (on Ebay). The camera had been totally reworked by him before the sale. It did take a bit of experimenting to find the "exact" center point of the view finder. I use a lens hood and this is my guide for composition of the image. I did some cropping on this image as the film roll did a massive light leak around the edges. Other than this "bit" (op error??), the camera is faultless. Stay warm all, Aloha, Bill</p>

<p>Thanks Darin. The bridge is in Dallas, Texas. The shot was taken from the old bridge it replaced, which now functions as a pedestrian walk across the Trinity River.</p>

<p>Bill, I always look in on Certo6's ebay ads and have thought about snagging something like a Record 3, Super Ikonta or one of the Bessa II's he often has for sale. Looks like he does nice work on them, but between this M4 outfit and a nice Contax IIA outfit, it's enough picking between those two, LOL.</p>
