<p>Louis, that seems like a very good Q/P ratio. Munger and DXO seem to differ on whether it is best at long focal or short, but each seems to think it is an above average lens in its price range (Munger may be more positive of the two) so your wife will probably be happy with it. I am testing a full frame Sony E mount zoom and so far am happy with its performance, even though edge softness at some focal lengths is noted. <p>Thanks for the links, Arthur. It seems most user reports, such as Amazon, are overwhelmingly positive. For casual use, as my wife will give it, I'm pretty sure it will serve well on her NEX 6 for years to come. When her's arrives, I'm sure I will give it a spin at some point, too, on my A6000 just to see how well it does and maybe even compare it to my FE 70-200 f/4 in a limited way. Still, for under $150, it seems like a decent deal to add a bit of reach and focal length variaty to a compact E-mount system.</p>
