<p>A bit of a very warm Indian summer ended last sunday with a nice thunderstorm that stayed out at sea for longer than usual. I didn't expect it at all, so I pretty much brought the wrong gear (most notably no tripod), but some shots came out OK all the same.</p><div></div>

<p>Went out today and got a few shots of driftwood in the Mississippi. I was shooting from above down a steep cliff to the water. That's why all the shots are from above.</p>

<p>Not much new this week, and not much buzzing around either, but there was a little bee working a little flower, so I took another picture of a bee.</p><div></div>

<p>Earlier tonight my wife mentioned that there was a big spider in the garden shed. How big? Kind of hard getting close or getting focus, but this was one huge spider.</p><div></div>

<p>It was getting dark but some kids were still making lnoise on the playyard, so I picked up my D7000 and had some fun with high ISO. Shooting through net window screen and a fence net, which the AF of the camera thought being more interesting that those kids. Converted to BW for a bit friendly looking for sharp eyes.</p><div></div>
