amanda_kleinman
I just got a Bronica S2A and I'm absolutely in love with the camera. The only problem I have discovered is that it seems the shutter speed selector dial is almost stuck. I can get it to move just slightly. Is there some shutter speed selector lock mechanism I'm not aware of? I suspect the gears might need servicing (if I even know what I'm talking about).
I just wondered if anyone has experienced a similar issue or had any insight.
Kind regards,
Amanda
c_watson1
Among the few on the planet who services these relics, there's Frank Marshman:

https://www.facebook.com/CAMERA-WIZ-camera-repair-336734200619/

With respect, it might be worth looking at an update/upgrade.
halvor_sens
Hi Amanda,

I got a Bronica S with some problems. I managed to repair it by opening the side of the camera.
If you do so, you need a smaal screw driver and remove some parts of the "leather look". Remove the side of the camera.
Then you can see what is wrong. It could be cleaning and a little lubrication. I don't think there is a lock mechanism for the shutter selector.
