rachel_coun
I am heading to Cuba from the U.S. next month. I want to shoot b&w film. Are there any precautions i need to know bringing the film in and out? Heard some of their XRay machines may damage film?

Thanks.
Rachel

lorraine_healy1
I was in Havanna in February 2013 and took a load of film, shot most of it, left what I hadn't shot with Cuban photographers, and brought the shot film back--no problems at any stage. You'll love it there!
sunny_from_the_sunshine_st
Slightly off the subject , going by this weeks TIME cover story , I was amazed to learn that Cuba boasts a literacy rate of almost 100%. The city is devoid of gun and drug culture and hence low in crime unlike its neighbors. Pretty cool !
gungajim
Devoid of personal freedom and individual riigtes also. Pick your poison.
If you are planning to go to Cuba, do it soon. With things opening up for US visitors there is going to be an influx of tourists that the Cuban travel infrastructure is going to be unable to cope with for some time to come.
