michael_fox
I have an Arca Swiss 4x5 F-metric. I bought a new 70mm (long) bellows for use with my 300mm and 450mm lenses. However, the center of the bellows sags severely, creating vignetting. I checked the Arca Swiss catalog and found part number 077000 called "Bellows support". However this is shown in the Format conversions section for an M-line camera so I don't know if it will work with the F-line. Anyone else using the 70mm bellows and, if so, how to you cure the sag problem?
alpshiker
Michael, I am not specialist but for what I can see on the picture, this accessory is a small adjustable support and it clips directly on the rail. The rail being the same for the F and M line, it should work for both cameras.
john_luke
Rather than spend the bucks, I use a wooden clothes pin that I loosely wedge between the bellows and the rail.
geoffrey_james
Or duct tape on top. Phillips cameras have a tiny post on the front standard, and a velcro tab with hole glued to top of bellows.
glenn_kroeger
Michael: Call or email Rod Klukas at Photomark in Phoenix. He helped design and test that support for Arca.
wayne_crider4
Stick an empty box (or anything else for that matter) under it and be done with it. Maybe try a Barney lunchbox.
michael_fox
Thanks for all the responses. I'm going to check out the A-S holder. In the mean time, I'll try a Spiderman lunchbox. Sorry, Wayne, no Barney!
andreas_schmidt2
buy a somewhat harder sponge, cut out some part so that it firmly fits onto the rail even when you move it up a bit. This seems to me to be the cheapest and most lightweight solution.
