gunther_mckeown
I have a black body FT that I purchased about 20 years ago in a camera shop in Germany. It looks almost unused but I am curious about a large white "R" to the left of the serial number 261775. Has anyone come across this before? If so, what does it mean?

Thanks

konrad_beck1
I have consulted John Foster's PEN SLR book, and cannot find any reference to such markings.
As the R is not engraved, I do not think that it comes originally from Olympus. I assume that the owner has marked it himself, e.g., to differentiate it within his collection (R = reversal film?).
