Thanks for the interesting shot with the rare FD fisheye, Jim.
Speaking of rare FD, I'd love to see a shot from the 35mm TS lens sometime if anyone has one ?
A couple more Japanesque views on Provia 400X chrome film, whose colours I really like:

Canon FDn 200/4.0 Macro lens

I thought the sharp shadow thrown by this Praying Mantis added a little extra to the photo.....and it's about as creepy as the bug itself

".....never seen one of those bugs on a black background before.....displays the green nicely....."

Agree...good strong contrast.
As I stepped out on the front porch yesterday morning I happened to notice it on the black window shutter a few feet away....intense early morning side light throwing that sharp shadow.
Did an about face to grab the 200 macro, body & tripod...managed to get off a couple shots before it traveled off the black shutter onto the white siding...a stroke of good luck.

Last shots for the month from me.
This was just trying to learn about speed lights setting up a small basement studio.
Two of the shots were learning low key photography and the other just me trying to look cool :D

All photos taken with the FD 400mm F4.5
