Alex_Es
Yow! Half a year has gone by! It's June, it's summer and it's time for a new Photo of the Month! Come on, Canon FD shooters, let's your stuff! Remember: Anything having to do with FD is welcomed, including FL and R cameras and lenses. And anything I might have missed!

Here's another cat shot. Fuji X-E1 + Canon FDn 200/2.8 + FD Extender B.

ashbrown
Yawning or roaring, I'm not quite sure, Alex! Good timing!
Last month I tried Fujichrome Provia 400X for the first time, and liked it a lot. Expensive film, but the colours are very good for my taste, and it scans a lot more easily than color negative film for me at least. All shots are of Japanese theatre with the ever wonderful nFD 200/2.8 IF, aperture wide open and handheld at 1\250:

gabriel_gerena
Sorry I was a bit moody that day. :D
I have done it before but cant recall. I just wanted to post the direct link to the Flickr image or any other way to keep the IQ as high as possible without killing the details etc.
I went to the Aviary and Zoo on Saturday to test my new Sony A7ii and 90% of the pics were with the Canon FD 400mm F4.5 handheld. The others were FD 100mm F2, 50mm 1.4 and so on. All FD as those are my only lenses (aside from the kit 28-70 which was humiliated by my FD 35mm F2 lol )

The IBS is so good that for the first time ever I just felt like leaving the big Canon lens on the camera all the time. Probably over 90% of my shots were with that 400mm :D

Anyways this is with the Canon FD 400mm F4.5 and a Sony A7ii handheld. I will go through the rest to see what I got but at first glance I am super happy to see a lot of sharp images from such a big lens. A much higher ratio than before with my NEX-6 that has no IBS.

BTW Bill that butterfly looks gorgeous! Great shot.
