ray .
Just a quick question, which may be obvious I don't know- Is the view with Live view on the 6D equivalent to a 100% viewfinder? I handled a 6D yesterday and am wondering if anyone thinking the smaller (more acute?) grip compared to the 5D might be a problem, and found that they got used to it once they used the 6D. Seems like it might fatigue the hand a little more since the position of the fingers ends up being less relaxed. Or is it a non-issue? Thanks in advance... PuppyDigs
yes, LV show 100% of the recorded image. I still shoot with a 5D2 and 6D and find the 6D grip a little more comfy but the difference is minor. The lack of a joystick on the 6D took the longest to get used to. The 6D also lack a dedicated FEC button which drove me nuts at first (Q-screen is too slow in the heat of a shoot). However, you can assign FEC to the set button and -+ FEC with the main dial.
Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
ray .
What's the FEC button? I should know this? :) I probably use it, but don't know what it refers to.
