Hello friends! November is upon us with Halloween still a poignant memory. Shower us with images, FD shooters! Let's see if we can stretch this thread all the way from Halloween to Thanksgiving!

I shot the following three images with a Fujifilm X-Pro1 + Canon FDn 85/1.2L. Next month I promise to use my Canon EFs for this thread.

Here is the first:

00cvQx-552184084.jpg.c10782a048d2effa4c79906b935ad98f.jpg

Decided to challenge myself taking the FDn 70-150/4.5 with me deer hunting this morning. Was in the woods before first light and as light level started coming up I saw this leaf that seemed suspended in mid-air. ISO100 and 1/50 in the woods low light was tough even with a monopod but I tried to see if I could pull it off without the noise of ISO400.......almost got there.

You're too kind...I know its not razor sharp and so do you, LOL.
I was sitting in a chair inside a little wildlife blind trying to use my knees with the monopod to make it act like a tripod but couldn't quite get it rock solid...could see the image pulsing with my heartbeat.
And...it's never really apparent just how much a distant hanging leaf is moving in soft air currents until it's dialed in with a telephoto lens...then it's REAL obvious.
Anyhow, I never cease to be amazed by the IQ of that relatively slow, Canon FDn 70-150 / 4.5 zoom lens...wouldn't take anything for it.
