PuppyDigs
I would to a total reset of all camera settings to factory spec and set CF and settings from scratch. If the previous owner's Wi-Fi settings are there, it's likely his fav remapped buttons, drive sensitivity, copyright/name in the EXIF data are still set.

I found the Wi-Fi easy to pair with my iPhone but a grand PITA on a computer. Wi-Fi is a real battery burner too...
Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
jim_a
You may want to view this video on setting up the 6D wifi. It can be a PITA to get set up initially, but it's been reliable once connected.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnPlzeXi80A

Mark Keefer
The 6D WiFi can be handy, I use mine with both my Galaxy S2 phone and even wireless remote shooting with the computer using the EOS software through a wireless router. WiFi can quickly drain your battery though, so I recommend extra batteries and remembering to turn off the feature when not using it.

Good link from Jim. Explaining all that in a post would have been very long.
Cheers, Mark
