alfonso_valdes
Hi, I have used a mic in the mic input with manual gain setting on my 7D and my recently acquired 6D with good sound quality. I was wondering if the audio attenuation setting on the 6D would allow me to use the output of a mixer (line level) as input to the 6D. This would let me use multiple mics and provide phantom power to a nice studio condenser mic I have. So the question is: with the attenuation set on the 6D audio, and manually setting gain, can I safely use a line level input to the 6D? I asked Canon, but the reply led me to believe that the person replying knows less about this than I do.
