andrew_david2
Hi all,
I've started using a new lightroom plug-in called HDRinstant and I wanted to share my results.
I took these from video footage shot on my Nikon V1. The first one is just an image extracted from the video.

http://www.photo.net/photo/17654757&size=lg

The second has been stacked and tone mapped with the plug-in.

http://www.photo.net/photo/17654758&size=lg

I think the result is pretty good!
Andy
pge
For comparison, here is the original image with photoshop adjustments. I simply adjusted levels to make the histogram cover the full spectrum, and I added 35% (the default) to the shadows with the shadows/highlights tool. Obviously you could adjust to taste, but these two adjustments are the most basic ones, and in my mind the result is a bit more realistic. However realistic may not have been the goal.

philfx
Both pretty nice. I think I would go with Phil's version, and add color tone as need be. Andrew, your sample shows a lot of color saturation or tone. Perhaps that's part of the plugin options/settings default?
