does anybody have or know of a source for a lens profile for LR5.3? I do not want to use DPP for developing just because of the profile. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Nice regards. Peter</p>

<p>I can only say that Adobe has made available the Lens Profile Creator software so you could make your own (and it comes w/ a small app that searches their 'database' to see if such a profile already exists)</p>

<p>DxO Optics Pro 9.1 supports the 200-400mm with all the likely Canon bodies. It's way more user friendly than DPP and has stupendous noise reduction and lens correction capabilities. You could do your Raw conversion in DxO and then transfer the tiff into LR or PS if you still needed a local adjustment.</p>

<p>People that suggest a DYI profile for a zoom lens clearly haven't thought about it. To get results approaching DxO or DPP, you need a profile at every focal length and every aperture and every body that you own, with and without TCs. It can be done, but, as you say, it's a lot of work.</p>
