The problem I have is that I can't get the back off my camera. I tried to press the release button but it will not press down at all. dave_wilson1 Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 IDK, it's been a really long time since I used one, but, there should be a little tab on the darkslide that pushes in the small actuator lever to release the darkslide saftey lock. It might be sliding along side the actuator tab and not doing its job. If it doesnt push the little safety lock I dont think you will get the back off.
