Refurbished Nikon N80 problem

<p>Hello,<br /> <br />I just purchased a refurbished Nikon N80 camera and noticed light seeping through the bottom part of the viewfinder. Is this normal? I still have not used the camera but fear that it will ruin the film. I will deeply appreciate any comments.<br /> <img src="http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/2796/agqo.jpg" alt="" /></p>

<p>I assume this picture was taken with the mirror up and shutter open? The white stripe below the leds can be some kind of a reflection. Try using some cheap film in the body in order to test it. That says more than looking through the viewfinder and worrying about what may be/go wrong.</p>

<p>I vaguely remember someone sending a similar query to a magazine. Seems like its just a quirk of the viewfinder system. It shouldn't affect the images at all.</p>

I have an N80 in near mint condition. It has the same internal viewfinder reflection as the one you show.<br>

It is simply a reflection within the viewfinder, seldom noticed, and does not affect the image on the film. Use the N80 well.<br>
