Over the weekend, harvesting kicked into high gear around here. Farmers worked around the clock, trying to beat the coming rain. Here, a Lexion combine offloads soybeans into a waiting grain cart pulled by a 4WD New Holland tractor. The tractor will shuttle the grain to a waiting semi-trailer for transport to the elevator. The equipment in the photo is worth about half a milliion dollars. Nikon D7100, Nikno 17-55mm f2.8, Gitzo tripod, ISO 3200 & f2.8.

My third is one I did when I worked near Valley Forge. Original was taken with a Minolta Autocord (I paid $75 for) on Agfachrome. Recently, I loaded the app Helmut on my Galaxy S4, and, using a Nexus 4 set to a blank compose email page on which I placed the slide. Then, I ran the result thru Capture NX2 to boost the now faded colors of the Agfachrome.
