Can Anyone Recommend a SERIOUS 35mm Forum/List?

Apologies for being off-topic, but does anyone know of a 35mm site that is as reliable and informational as this great MF forum? I would like to get reviews of pro lenses, particularly compaing the two high-end macros from Canon and Nikon. Can you help? Thanks and best wishes, Mark.

I would suggest photo.net it seems to be comparable to this.

I guess it depends upon what you mean by serious.

For those who haven't found photo.net, the URL is http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/philg/photo/index.html. Some of the photographers who participate regularly give excellent advice. Just don't ask which camera or lens you should buy. :-)

Phil Greenspun has an excellent front page with equipment reviews, links to other related sites, and two discussion forums - one on photography in general and one on nature photography.

esp. for the use of comparing top lenses, I would recommend the new www.photodo.com

Click the "Products & Tests" then "Lenses".

You'll find one of the largest MTF-Lens-Comparisons I've ever seen. Really worth to look.
